Traffic stop leads to big drug bust in Jones County | Local News

A traffic stop just outside of the Laurel city limits led to the arrest of four suspected drug dealers and the seizure of approximately $75,000 in an assortment of illegal drugs and several thousands of dollars in cash, Jones County Sheriff’s Department narcotics officers announced on Monday.

Antonio Currie, Cedric Bounds, Gregory Jordan and Lakendrick McCullum were arrested as a result of the traffic stop and all face numerous drug, weapon and conspiracy charges. They made their initial appearance in Jones County Justice Court on Monday.
