Rihanna has switched it up once again, shocking fans with her new hair, a complete 180 on her statement long brunette hair.

The music star stepped out in Santa Monica over the weekend when she was snapped with the new short look, and many fans are hoping the drastic change means a drastic new move from the star. Could we finally be getting new Rihanna music? We hope so, but we’re not holding our breath!

Rihanna debuts new pixie blonde haircut

Looking almost unrecognizable, the Umbrella singer stepped out all smiles in California with an extremely short blonde pixie cut.

The shock change comes months after she debuted her long blonde hair, a style fans couldn’t get enough of.

However, Rihanna is no stranger to the pixie. In 2008, the star set a fashion trend with her spiky pixie cut, although this is the first time she’s rocked a blonde one, and she rocks them both!

The 36-year-old looked chill and chic as she walked the streets with an oversized sporty jersey and jeans, rocking a pair of colorful sunglasses on top of her new hairdo.

Of course, fans on X, formerly known as Twitter went wild for the new style, as some thought it may be a sign of other things to come.

“We have entered the Auntie Riri Era,” joked one.

A second wrote: “Full mom era. The album talk ends now.”

A third admired: “Ngl I love the down-to-earth vibes her wardrobe been giving—real casual, I’m a mom & f*** ur thoughts about it.”

“Is she in album mode?” questioned another.

“Uh who tf is that??” questioned one, who didn’t even recognize the star.

The star celebrates another huge business move

Just when we thought the Fenty Brand couldn’t get any bigger, the mogul has now announced that her highly successful makeup brand will now be available in China.

Taking to Weibo, the star said: “China has such a rich culture that has always inspired me and I cannot wait to share Fenty Beauty with all of you, celebrating your unique beauty.

“Thank you guys so much for making my dream come true and I can’t wait to see you soon.”

The Disturbia singer also took to Instagram to share a promo video, alongside the caption: “China Fenty fam!! I’m so excited to announce that we are expanding in Sephora stores April 1 – y’all ready?!”
