Rapper fights for his life 'for 9 days straight' in hospital after 'coughing up blood'
Bone Thugs-n-Harmony rapper Krayzie Bone has updated fans on his health, as he’s been ‘fighting for his life’ in hospital.
The 50-year-old music star took to social media to update fans on his health, which started declining just under two weeks ago, as he began coughing up blood.
Krayzie Bone ‘fought for life for nine days straight’
Taking to his half a million Instagram followers, the rapper, real name, Anthony Henderson, posted a picture of himself hooked up to machines on a hospital bed, as he updated fans on his condition.
In the caption, the 50-year old wrote: “Just fought for life “Literally for 9 days straight. And I only won the battle this time because I know Jehovah God was with me every step of the way fighting for me.
“Never take life for granted enjoy it while have you have it! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers trust me I needed every last one of them,” he concluded.
At the end of September, sources told TMZ that the star was allegedly placed in an induced coma, after doctors operated after discovering a bleeding artery in one of his lungs.
The insiders claim that the ‘idea’ behind the induced coma was “that it would help the healing process,” however the issue wasn’t resolved, and they planned on “going back to try and fix it for good.”
However, from his social media post, it looks like things are definitely on the up.
Fans send the star their well wishes
Upon seeing the post, fans of the Cleveland-born-rapper rushed to the comments to wish him a speedy recovery.
“Prayers for a speedy recovery G!” exclaimed one.
“Amen!!! God is sooo good. You were covered by millions in prayer. Keep healing up! We need you!” wrote another fan.
One user exclaimed: “I LOVE YOU!!! THIS MADE MY DAY!”
“Thanking God for your life, and praying for your continued healing,” prayed another.
The star’s last post before his update was posted on September 20, where he promoted a music partnership contest in which he’d be judging in.
